2013 Offensive Rookie of the Year

Here are the candidates for the 2013 FFL Offensive Rookie of the Year (in alphabetical order)

Puurs Titans WR #20 – Jonas Bruyndonckx

Stats : 3 catches, 39 yards. 25.0 yards per kick return, 14.0 yards per punt return. 142 All purpose yards*

A dangerous guy with the ball in hand, a good catch and gets up to full speed quickly, both on offense and in the return game.

Leuven Lions RB #31 – Seppe Delmeiren

Stats : 44 rush, 221 yards, 1 touchdown. 4 catches, 96 yards, 2 touchdowns. 332 All purpose yards

Started the season in a blaze of glory but was slowed down by injuries. A real all purpose guy, not just a threat in the running game but made a couple of spectacular catches too.

Gent Gators TE #88 – Stef Dufour

Stats : 25** catches, 238 yards, 1 touchdown. 238 All purpose yards

Set the FFL record for receptions in a season this year. Obviously great hands, good speed and does a pretty good job in the run game too.

Izegem Tribes G #79 – Kris Labeau

Stats : None, he’s an offensive hog

Was part of an offensive line that gave up only three sacks all season long.

Izegem Tribes QB #3 – Wout Huysman

Stats : 19/48, 133 yards. 50 rush, 224 yards, 1 touchdown. 224 All purpose yards

Has done a solid job at the most difficult position in sports. Only threw 3 interceptions all season and provided a threat with his legs, including rushing for 100 yards in a single game.
